One of the most anticipated projects Marvel Studios is developing is a Fantastic Four reboot. The franchise has produced numerous live-action films, each more polarizing than the last. The hope is that under the direction of Kevin Feige, Marvel’s first family will be able to prosper and finally get an adaptation that lives up to its source material. The film is a few ways out, currently set to hit cinemas in 2023. Details on the film are practically non-existent, though it has been revealed that the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Spider-Man director Jon Watts will be helming the film.

Despite no details announced, fans are anxiously awaiting for Marvel and Kevin Feige to reveal more info regarding the film, particularly casting news. In a recent interview with ET Online at the Black Widow red carpet premiere, Feige said that fans shouldn’t hold their breath waiting for a casting announcement anytime soon.

“I don’t think it’s soon. This [Black Widow] is our first red carpet event in two years. We’ll see what happens with upcoming gatherings and fan events where we can release more news. I hope sometime in the near future.”
